Cyclone (2011)

Poem. This limited-edition broadside of Steven Riel's poem Cyclone, is suitable for framing. The 51-line poem was inspired by an artwork in mixed media titled Maelstrom created by artist Shawn Hill. Cyclone recreates the tumbled mixture of objects (often referencing popular culture) depicted in Hill's art piece, and questions the possibility for meaning in the midst of utter chaos.
